Thank you for another one of your excellent poems. Harry Chapin was a great man, cut down by a tragic accident while in his youth. I used to say that people died before their time, but then I realized that God chooses the time, so there are no mistakes.

Hi Thomas; thank you so much for reading and reviewing. Harry plays in my house constantly, and he is never far from my mind. I only wish he were here to write protest songs again-I bet he would've loved Trump!!

I have read several poems composed in this manner, and yours read very well.

A very well-written Sapphonic Triad. It is a challenging format, but the quote leads the tend of the rest of the poem. Keep to the prescribed syllables and it can be done in a few minute. I did not do one for a long time.
