This is a style that's completely new to me -
short, sharp and to the point....
I find it difficult to make comments on such
short pieces, Patty.

Such a beautiful short poem, or whatever it's actual name is haha. I haven't experienced actual love outside of the family barrier of caring and love, but this poem was understanding to me and how hard it is to find the right person.

Hi Chloe; thank you so much for your review of this poem. I'm glad you were able to find a meaning within the lines of the poem that you felt applied to you. You are young and need to learn the wily ways of love - I wish you all the best in that regard,

Good morning, Patty

Love or more precisely true, unconditional love is worth the pursuit. When one finds it, there is a feeling of deep euphoria, of contentment, of peace. Enjoyed.

Take care and stay safe,

Ray

Lovely poem and lovely artwork.
To find love, as you say, you cannot hide. It's risky, but it has to be done (Heart on my sleeve).
Thanks for sharing.

Hi Patty thank you for sharing this most interesting and deeply emotional verse about love.. Your words made me look closely into the meaning within and both stanzas have their very own unique way of searching for love. Stanza one seems to hold back a little, reserved with a bashful innocence, while stanza two lets the guard down a little more, unafraid to express and be natural. Beautiful poem Patty.. Thanks for sharing this journey of love. happy smiles to you, mel xxx

Hi Mel; thank you so much for your thoughtful review of this piece. I'm so happy you were able to see the duality of the stanzas. I think it is just as important to be open to love finding you, as it is to search for it. Your kind words of encouragement are greatly appreciated,

I think that this poem is beautiful but personally, I would not search for love because it would seem as if I am forcing the feelings to come at the wrong time, especially. Maybe you might have written it for writing purposes but it made me think of waiting patiently for love.

Hi; thank you so much for reading and reviewing this piece. I'm so glad you were able to form your own opinions about love and the poem. I think the whole point of poetry is for the writer to express their words, and the reader to form their own interpretation.

Such a deep subject to deal with. Love, who can really figure it out, or how to get and keep it?

Finding love is a long journey... yes it is, and many don't realize it. They think love just pops up and its easy. Unfortunately, it takes a long time to nurture and build.

Take care,
Rhonda

The Sapphonic Triad--that's one I've just now been introduced to. And with a poem regarding love's journey--that's even better. It was uplifting and hopeful. Thank you for sharing your point of view on love.

thank you so much for your thoughtful review of this work. The Sapphonic Triad was a new format for me, too. I found the information for it and it seems that it was invented by one of our own FanStory family members. The poetic form was challenging, but I had fun with the puzzle of putting it together. I'm just happy that the result was cohesive!
