Jesus promises to be with us always. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for an inspirational read. There is very good imagery and descriptive scheme.

Today, just another day,
Day one to spread the good news,
A very good poem. It's good to remember we don't need Easter or a special day to remember Jesus.

Hi Thomas; I'm glad you liked the poem and felt the love coming through its word. We certainly don't need to only write about Christ's love at only Christmas and Easter,

You seem to have followed the rules for the contest Patty. Nice poem about our Savior, Jesus, Wow! What a picture. Just look at those eyes. In the next to the last line, should it say> "Embrace [the] love He gives for free."? Well done Good Luck. Nancy

Hi Nancy; thank you so much for your thoughtful review. I did go in and change the second to the last line. I made it fit the seven syllable requirement, and it looks better - thank you for the suggestion,

Great picture. Such a positive poem. Your faith jumps out from the page in this poem. I do enjoy this type of poem, it scans very well. I loved 'streets that wear out your new shoes'. MaggieF

One of these days, my friend, you'll have to teach me
how to get a word in on the outskirts of poems and
poetry. You write so well, whatever you chose to write
about: pets, yourself, God and the world.
I guess that's what they call True Talent.
Alway,
Apky

Hi Apky; what a wonderful compliment! If I truly understood the process I use to write, I'd love to share it with you. I usually look at the requirements of the poetic form, and build a framework. From there, I fill in the words. I love it when the rhymes are in the right place, and then the cohesive story needs to be told. See, I really don't know how I do it,

Dear patty, Excellent religious loop poem! I loved your rhymes and the rhythm of your stanzas. And I recognized it as a loop poem even before I saw the word Loop Poem contest entry. I'm getting to be familiar with the different styles I've been learning! Dove

Hi Dove; thank you so much for the lovely review. Isn't it wonderful when you realize you can recognize the different types of poetry? Trying out the different poetic forms I find within the works of fellow FanStorians and from the website, shadowpoetry, I'm have a lot of fun,

Loop poetry isn't the easiest of styles, but you've
made a good job of this, Patty - the words, and both
rhythm and rhyme flowing well throughout.
Good luck with the contest, my friend.
