I enjoyed reading this one. It sounds like an opening of a chapter. There is a lot of thought into these three lines. The field being fallow after a harvest was done is just astounding. Harvesting is a process that takes up a whole day as you have it desolated feel as the day's done. You done well.

This is a deeply evocative haiku and the image complements the words perfectly. The verbs are very carefully and cleverly chosen and help to create the image in the reader's mind. Thanks for sharing.

The fields in the Fall take on an empty look. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a very descriptive read. There is very good imagery.
