Beautiful presentation and thoughtful arrangement. This is an unusual style with which I am not familiar but it certainly works for the topic of your poem. Truly enjoyed your thoughts and the creative way you offered the wonderful truth of redemption of "whosoever will".
Smiles and all the best in the contest.

One believed, one scoffed, totally different destinies because of it. This is a lovely Trinet poem, the three crosses for this form are so natural. Blessings...

Nicely done! I admire those who can write poetry like this. Thought out thoroughly. You shared a valuable story to the world. I love it when our writing is a testimony to our faith. God has gifted you. --Judith Ann

thank you so much, Judith. Your glowing review and mention of a gift reminds me where any talents I have come from. It is with His inspiration and grace that I write,

A great sorry and a great lesson in faith. No good works or penance required. Just walk in. It's a gift from God. If he charged admittance you couldn't afford it.

Nicely done. You know so many new forms... where did you find them all? So, did both robbers believe in Christ and get saved, or just one? I forget.

Hi Phyllis; only one of the thieves was saved. The other one did not believe in Christ, so he perished.
I have been collecting all of these different poetic forms from posts here on FanStory - I usually copy any notes on new poetic forms from the author's notes, and I have a book called, Poetic Meter and Form by Octavia Wynne. I've been doing my best to try new forms and spread my wings a bit.
Thank you for reading,

It's helpful to other poets, so it's generous of you to share your knowledge from your research. Have you told the potlatch group about these forms? They need new challenges each week.

I'm pretty sure they have them all. I get my best notes from Sandra du Plessis. I know she's part of the group. ~p~

You sure are good in composing wonderful verse in all forms of poetry and tempting readers to try the form/style; this verse is succinct, yet capsules the history of crucifixion quite well; thanks for sharing and good luck!

thank you so much for the review and glowing words of compliment. I love poetry, and I'm having a blast trying different forms. This form just begged to be written about the scene at Golgotha.

What a great use for this poetic form to write about the three crosses! The format becomes cross shaped because of the line lengths. I always wonder about the difference between Matthew's and Luke's accounts. But I do believe both are right. We just don't have all the info.

I also have a very strong faith in Jesus Christ so anything that is written about him I will always only see as precious. I I also have a very strong love for the word.
(2 Timothy 3:16 & 17 - All scripture is inspired of God) I am happy to see that we have a faith in Jesus Christ and in the word, in common. I have thoroughly studied the Bible scriptures for over 25 years. Thank you of your poem.
