Dear patty, a sweet poem about your dogs. I like the way the typing is italicized. The Monchielle is new to me. Maybe I'll try it out. Dove

'pretty pups make my day
fuzzy toes and tummy
the proud, the brave, the few,
navigate toys and such
doggy messes, oh pew
Pretty pups make my day
Shining eyes smile at me
they plot, they plan their ruse,
a quick dastardly trick
thank God, they don't eat shoes...
I ADORED this Patty, lighthearted and well crafted. virtual six for well written cuteness :) Love Meia x (reminds me of my pup Buffy as a pup :)

Oh Meia; I love it when you weigh in on my writing! Thank you for the virtual six. It was a challenge to write this and meet all the requirements of the poetic form; but it also made it fun.

Adorable photograph of your pet puppies. They are pretty. The repeat line work the poem together nicely. Good action and description words utilized. Good way to ode them. Nice work.

Good morning, Patty, for your author's notes. I read them before your poem and found it to be delightful in all aspects, beginning with the doggies, who like my Yorky, is in dire need of a haircut, also.. LOL!

It was such a fun read, and I loved your ending, that you were so grateful they did not eat eat shoes! LOL!

This is a cute poem, Patty. It's one that every dog owner can relate well to. Cute pic of the pups. My last dog, Daisy, was a Bichon Frise ... so cute and cuddly!

This is the first time that I have seen this form. You did a great job on your Monchielle poem. Thanks for your author notes detailing it. "Fuzzy toes and tummy" is my favorite line. I loved to rub my Daisy's tummy. :)

It sounds like a lot of fun in your house with your pups about, never a dull moment it seems! I love it when they scamper, because then they are exhausted and sleep in their baskets! A joyous uplifting write Patty, love Dolly x

this is such a light-hearted, fun poem,
with a lovely sing-song rhythm to it ...
brightening my day - I love the picture
of your dogs. I lost my little Cairn
terrier some time ago, but still miss
her so much.
