Looks like a beautiful cup and saucer from your son, Patty and you have the cup and saucer pattern just right through your words as she waits, while the tea is brewing.
nice one,
cheers,

Hi valda; thank you for this lovely review for my teacup poem about a teacup. This was a fun write and a loving tribute to my beautiful antique cup and saucer,

A very well-written teacup poem. Although there is nothing really wrong with your poem. I was told once when I was doing this kind of poetry that the title should be part of the poem.
Suggestion:
TEACUP 'N SAUCER
She sits so pretty
on her saucer
nice and neat
She waits
Tea
filled to china brim

I like the half etheree in the shape of a cup on a saucer personifying the teacup. It is waiting for what fills its life.
I like the fancy empty cup of the artwork.

Hi Patty,
I love this teacup poem about a teacup. I enjoyed how you made the cup come to life through personification. The anticipation can be felt while waiting to be filled much like when we ourselves wait.
Nicely done,
Rubylou

Very nice imagery of a patient tea cup awaiting the fulfillment of life.
Very crisp words.
We should all be so lucky as to be filled to the China brim.
Excellent writing!

Amazing detail in the tea cup Patty. A tea cup so proud serving many a Devon-shire tea party. You words personify this tea cup perfectly. Thanks for sharing.

This is beautiful. Good job on the syllable counts per line. Your words form a perfect teacup.
Your picture is awesome, too.
Together words & picture make an awesome poem.

Some prefer to play with their poems, such as this one which is called a structure poem. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a very good read.
