Comment from Meia (MESAYERS)
"Whether he is wealthy or poor, the Utopian is captain of his ship and master of his fate because he has broken the chains of society's repressive conditioning and opinions. He has formed himself by embracing all the colors of the rainbow, emerging from the dark and formless roots of his unconscious past and growing wings to fly into the sky. His very way of being is rebellious - not because he is fighting against anybody or anything, but because he has discovered his own true nature and is determined to live in accordance with it. The eagle is his spirit animal, a messenger between earth and sky.
"The Utopian challenges all people to be courageous enough to take responsibility for who and what we are and to live according to truth and truth alone."
Fascinating writing. You remind me of the great modern writers such as Orwell, pure brilliance and virtual six. Love Meia x

John, it's a pleasure to read work so well presented,
making it so much easier to follow.
Your vivid imagination shines through your work - a rather
unique story with some interesting characters, stirring the
imagination.

Well written with a creative flow. The description of Utopia is believable to the point of anticipating the next chapter. What is perfect in one person's mind can be perceived very differently in another's.

...waked by the crowing of a rooster. Got a chuckle from me. The rest was interesting enough, and well written. What is going through the author's mind is always something the reader is curious about and I am no exception. Thanks for posting.

If only there was such a world as the one you have so masterfully crafted my friend. I enjoyed the smooth flow of this read and the fantasy that it brought forth.
God bless!

How i wish this society existed .Like Thoreau"s Walden Pond this idealistic society may spring some surprises after all. that is being cynical i know. i agree with many things Walter said - about collective consciousness, supernatural things ,globalisation....About time and lack of calendars, that was a bit surprising.
all the best for the rest

This is a cool little world you have created. It does sound cultish, wonder what will happen next. I'll see you here at least once a week, I guess. I have to promote mine this weekend.
Have a good day.

Great read. Very nicely written. I wonder if there really is such a thing as Utopia? Although if there is, I'm pretty sure my neighbour is a Utopian because he is always freakin' happy. :-) I found your storyline fascinating, and I really look forward to where it goes from here. The possibilities are endless.

Interesting, and well written. You set the stage well, and the reader can easily imagine themselves in the scene.
Running Bear: "Walter has been here for nearly four years now. -- This is more of a script format, and the usual "Running Bear says" would probably be better.
From a story standpoint, I wish more happened in this section. Basically they woke up, had breakfast, and Walter gives a long lecture. I would prefer reading about Joy and Adam experiencing this Utopia, and their adventures illustrating the points Walter is trying to share. Personally, I want to see what happens when "Mom" instructs them to do some task and they ignore the directive. You also have a lot of potential conflicts with the outer world that could be explored for dramatic effect.
I'm interested in where you take this.
Keep writing!

Nicely done. Good flow to your chapter. Something tells me everything may not be as wonderful as it seems to be in your Utopia. I guess I will just have to wait and see; my mind started to branch this off in several directions. I can't wait to see where you take it.
