Besides being a skilled photographer, she seems to also know quite a bit how to write poetry and need to take a look at her web-site to see more of her work and Thanks for letting us know about Audrey and her website...C.

This is truly a soul touching poem. This person walks gently on Mother Earth and drinks in so gladly of Her Bounty. Blindness is also one of Depression's nasty little gifts, and this EXACTLY, is what it's like when sight is given back and the Black Dog slinks away. Such deep insight and such a gift to write like this. The photo! Are they my tears on the lens or some one else's or just the rain. I shall take note of the link.
Thank you, Linda, love xxoo Anita

This poem, with its repeating images, its repeating sounds of 'light' 'night' and 'sight', in this flat kind of monotone, was kind of surreal feeling. We have the blind man that can see the mist of the rain, rolling the dice, sitting in this soft, misty landscape. it is all ethereal and dream like, and we don't seem to have come from anywhere, or are going anywhere. We are endlessly rolling the dice, watching the mist, waiting out the night. estory

This is a very neat poem.
I am a bit confused by your author's notes--did Audrey Folk write this or you? There may be a typo or maybe not. But I really like the poem. It's about hope. :)

a thought provoking poem your girlfriend's daughter has penned her friend, clever use of rhyme and strong visuals to play in the minds eye. I thinking but am not sure he does indeed get a second chance at seeing again, I hope so, who doesn't like a happy ending : )
