Good cinquain. Appropriate for Easter. I like the way you put your words together. The crown of thorns is a bullying technique, in my opinion. It's cruel and nasty.
Happy Easter, again!

Nice Cinquain, Patty, and perfect for the upcoming Easter Holiday.
The Romans didn't just "press" the crown of thorn's into Jesus' head, no ma'am.
They placed the crown on his head, put a donut-like fixture around it, then pounded it with wooden mallets into his skull.
None of us can imagine the unimaginable pain and torture Christ was made to endure by the Romans on our behalf.
I'm just so thankful He did!
Have a joyous and Happy Resurrection Sunday.

Very good use of the form here. Nice to see it in its traditional garb. The poem displays strong, vivid imagery.

Great art work and words
for this poem, little
did they know by hurting
this man they were hurting
God who made us all.

Those who placed that crown could never have imagined the power of its impact as a symbol for future generations of Christians. Your poem has picked out one of the more important lessons in the Bible, that a true heart can overcome all kinds of mockery.

How gracious Lord's will, obedience and commitment to the cause of acting Saviour of mankind from the sins with a promise of resurrection & coming back before a sinful racial judge! An exceptional feeling of historic injustice here comes simply, thus a 6-Star.
