Hi,
This Cinquain conveys well what they did to Jesus and the sacrifice he made to save us from our sins. There is good alliteration, flow of words, an it leaves an impact as we read it.

Hi; thank you for reading and reviewing my Easter poem. I appreciate your kind words of encouragement. Once I got the idea, the rest just wrote itself - I was thinking of Him,

It's been said "heavy is the head that wears the crown" and likely no one ever wore a heavier crown. In time for Easter, this is an inspiring poem and it's brevity makes it more meaningful as it captures the essence of Easter.

thank you so much for your wonderful remarks about this work. I believe it came directly from Him. As I thought about what to write that day, He led me to that picture and the 'Crown of Thorns' came into my head. The rest simply wrote itself,

Hello there,
A very poignant verse full of vivid and evocative imagery. Tells the story well with tactile emotion depicted through your choice of vocabulary,
Very nicely done, thank you for sharing.

A powerful little Easter offering in Cinquain form friend, it was an act that will never be forgotten. I always wonder what would have went through the mind... what emotional response the solider who pushed it into his head must have had. did he have nightmares after it?

Powerful Cinquain captures Good Friday using very few words. Good use of color and artwork. I don't see anything that needs to be corrected. Thank you for writing and sharing.

Nice job, you were able to sum up a lot in this poem. It's really sad, thinking about how they meant the crown of thorns as "a joke", when he was doing so much to save us all. When I read it, I also think of all the kids who are bullied daily, sometimes w/o the bully even realizing it - they were just joking. Your poem reminded me to always be careful of what I do/say, as to not put crowns of thorns onto others.

Patty: I'm sure you are getting a lot of reviews. Great art, poem and witness
about Jesus. Maybe, His Word could be God's Word and one of the you could
be changed. Yes, so many scriptures in the gospel. Good way to study more
of the Good News and know we are redeemed by Jesus shed blood.
Have a blessed Easter! flylikeaneagle

Your cinquain is simply significant in singular simplicity. The reader feels the thorns as we read this powerful prose. A excellent and timely commentary, lovely to read and remember this Easter Sunday.
Happy Easter!
Blessings,
Brother Badger

Excellent use of words that well describes the crown of thorns on Jesus' head. This is a rare theme for a faith based poem and you did well with describing the impact of the thorns.

thank you for your positive review of this faith based work. He was at the center of my thoughts a great deal this last week, and I needed to tell part of His story.

Beautifully constructed cinquain poem, beautiful in your choice of words and topic.
Crown of thorns pressed into His head, meant to ridicule Him... powerful words.
