Very nicely done, Patty. A simple and straightforward 5-3-5. This reads almost like a Haiku as the last line, like a Satori, reflects on the first two lines.

Your poem about the supreme sacrifice Jesus made for us (his children, since He created all Souls and we all belong to Him)

Loving sacrifice
His blood shed
He rose in triumph

You express so eloquently and precisely the supreme sacrifice our beloved Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, paid for our sins, because He loved us so and did not want us to perish by forgiving us of all our our sins.... and we had naught to do but ask for forgiveness and repent..

A truly remarkable and memorable three lines.....
