I don't know but I disagree about the first line. However, I'm nonpracticing muslim. That murder seemed inhumane. His own friends backstabbed him very slowly. He must have suffered. And they watched, which seems completely morbid. It's easy to see how they could view the rising of Jesus' soul.

Still, it's a ancient story in a poem. Well thought out and nicely written religious poem. Short and sweet perspective because you have a good heart. Great visual imagery. Good accompanying photo to add irony to the situation.

Well done on your haiku. Your few words covered the story quite well. I especially like the illustration you found. For those who believe in Christ and the forgiveness of sins, it is a very helpful story. I grew up a Christian, but I don't want to isolate anyone of a different faith. For me, Christ would not exclude anyone.
