It made sense to me, as I have gone and done some research in the background. You develop your characters well, and I like the fact that you are able to incorporate some technical elements into this clever and well written narrative in a way that makes it all easy to understand. You introduce and develop conflict in a good way, and the reader develops empathy , anger, and strong emotions for the characters as the tale unwinds.
This is very well written, good spacing and natural, easy to read interaction between the characters ad the complex elements which you have incorporated. I love the subtle spiritual element

I did research on the character's' attributes in the real,professional environment like in the Psychiatry for Dr. Pascal. I am glad it paid off. Hope you will read the novel.
