Excellent poetic form, I love shape poetry but find it difficult to create. Your words capture all the elements of flood, it is yummy and nourishing and has a journey to travel to reach us.

Just had to stop and read because I love this type of fruit cake and used to make it all the time. Great hook for me. :)
I'd seen shape poems and wondered about the rules. Thanks for explaining this one. Seems hard to me, so really appreciate what you have done.
