Very funny and sad to say very often true. Men and women are seldom on the same planet, (Think Venus and Mars) let alone the same wavelength.

Nothing wrong with the exchanges, Patty, I am just trying to work out who the negative of the two are...which is not bad at all. It makes you think.
My best wishes.
Keep striving.

Hello,
I have never seen or even heard of this form of poetry before. Your author's notes were very helpful in understanding.
I like the larger letters for the the provoking questions and the smaller font for the reply and final questiion- great strategy.

Hi Patty, I had to read your author notes to get the hang of this form which I have not met before. Your work fits the bill perfectly. I like the bold questions followed by the pale answers. LOL. Quite believable really., - typical responses Very good. Warm regards Dorothy xx

A fitting date to post this enigmatic poem...... An unusual idea that works on several levels. The final line sums up their vinegar mix:
'Oh, are we on that again?'
With best wishes, Writeling

this is the kind of comment that makes me want to write. It is an inspiration
for some people to understand the issue of other women. It also makes one think
about the role that sexuality plays in the culture these days

This is an interesting style of communication between lovers. Unfortunately you also captured the disconnect in it as well. The 5-7-5 was perfect in both parts. This lovers' sedoka has a sad tone if we interpret that conversational mismatch. I enjoyed a lot.

An interesting form of poem which I have not come across before, so I cannot make any suggestions but it seemed ok to me as you followed the rules.
Best of luck.

This is a new form for me too. But going by your author notes it looks like you nailed it both the syllable count, and the question and answer.
The questioning female, the bread winning eye rolling male. Not this again.
This felt authentic. I can see this taking place in a real relationship. Good questions, real responses.
Nice!
