Dear friend this is a great honour to the person who gave his life for the hungry people and for giving you the strength to know yourself. Great.

How sad he died so young, but I've noticed many wonderful, talented people do seem to die young. So unfair. He obviously had a great influence on you, and thank goodness you listened to his words and left that awful husband of yours. Your poem is a great tribute to a man of greatness. Well done, it was a real pleasure to read. :) Sandra xx

I feel that Harry would be satisfied with his life if he helped only one person and he obviously helped you to change your life. Well done. I don't know Harry's work but I'll definitely download it. What a fabulous ode, you've put your heart and soul into this. MaggieF

A fitting tribute to a great humanitarian. Harry was a giant taken from the world far too soon. Tragically killed while on one of his many charity efforts.

Thank you so much for stopping by to read and review. Harry is missed. I think the world lost one of the best men when he died. The funny thing is he was driving a 1965 volkswagen. The only thing funnier would have been if he was in a taxi.

Well done. I like Harry Chapin too " Cats in the Cradle" is one of my favorites songs of his. Your ability to be able to relate your growth as a writer to the times you spent listening and seeing Chapin perform his music was executed in a very articulate fashion. Great job with the poetry glad he was able to inspire you to be a writer.

Wow! To say the least! Wishing I had ten stars (well at least six) to honor this very lovely work, full of really interesting and glorious celebration of this truly gifted poet and entertainer (which I too, have always admired)! The overall packaging of this work is 'striking' although the font coloration I found to be a bit difficult to read....but it was well worth it anyway. Other than that, I cannot offer anything to improve this work and thank this author for a great celebration of this genius! HIS GRAYNESS

Thank you HIS GRAYNESS. I changed the font color and I apologize for the harshness of the contrast. THANK YOU so much for your glowing review. I will take your virtual six any day. Harry was very special, and as I listened to a compilation of his music while I wrote this morning, I thanked God for letting me attend that concert so long ago.
