This is about the best I've read...its so true...there he was ranting to the public that the repeal and create of the new health care plan was going to be an easy task...but that plan stopped him dead...

Very good 5-7-5 poem with the theme 'Trump's first 60 days in office'. Very well written and to the point. A few things have stopped him dead already. He's learning by the hard way, I'm happy to say. Very good 5-7-5 poem with the theme 'Trump's first 60 days in office'. Very well written and to the point. A few things have stopped him dead already. He's learning by the hard way, I'm happy to say. Yep. Indeed. Let's hope such resistance continues! An excellent entry for the contest in content and substance. Each line flows well, but the fluidity between lines is very choppy due to stilted enjambment. However, I think it works fine--almost like a staircase--and the jolt effect suits the subject well!

Yes it's been 60 days and I've been in a bad mood for at least 59 of them. Hopefully, there will be enough grown=ups with integrity to keep him from taking the country down before the 2018 mid-terms when we can hopefully rebalance congress. Six stars for having the courage to post this.

Haha, so true. Hopefully, this teaches him that politics is not a dictatorship but a democracy. Sometimes his actions force me to question his intelligence. I hope he straightens everything out soon. He needs to learn how to play with the other kids in the sandbox. Otherwise, his policies will fail.

This 5-7-5, Has It Really Only Been 60 Days, captures the current struggle the President has to get his own party to get off their "opposition-only" asses and actual do something constructive. The R/R on the ACA was doomed to failure since the Republicans never gave it a thought for years. They just blocked and got in the way of everything that would make it work better. There's no way in hell that wall is getting built. What a waste of time and money.

He certainly roared long and loud in the first few weeks, but the roar has diminished for sure

A bit like this winter. What will happen in the next 4 & 3/4 years with his presidency? I think what's really funny is that you don't here about Trump's "First Lady". She may not be the trend-setter or go-getter that Michelle Obama was.
