Pretty much summed up the derailing of trumpcare in 3 short lines. Although it took 60 days to happen. Should be interesting what the next 60 days will bring! Meanwhile this should do well in the contest.

Good luck with your contest entry; can't stand the man. I am pleased that he had his toes trod on. We in Australia are affected by this Joker's idiot designs. He had already cut trade options with my country. Thanks for sharing.

No, a lot more than health care is stopping this "person" dead. As well it should. Can you imagine the gold bucket health care this....."person" has? He spends more money jetting down to Mar del Largo or whatever is the name of his place than could possible be saved in any way by a health care change. Costa Rica, for cripes sakes, has free health care! Give me a break! Wake frigging up you slaves! Give me another break. Want another billionaire to own you! Apparently you do.

It has stopped government. I would like to see Democrats and Republicans work together to solve our problems rather than the out of power party just be obstructionists.

I really like this. In those few words and syllables, you have summed Trump up brilliantly. I particularly enjoyed, 'a lion roared in' as he does remind me of one. Sometimes lions can be all noise and bluff and suddenly stop when something unexpected happens. Well done. Susan

It was good words for this Haiku, But if you are writing a 5-7-5 I believe this is a 5-7-6. Haiku can be less syllables, but not more than 17 . Here is a link to help see why you can go less; never more. ~Kerry

Very strange, I did think it was two, so I checked here and it says 2, but I checked other syllable counters when I saw your reply, and some were 1. I am sorry, I will change it to a 5 now.

That's the truth. He bit off more than he could chew. His promise was smothered by opposition and a brief time in office.
