Well to the point, Author. And a very suitable entry for this contest. Trump is going to be a well-used example for creative writing, and it will be very interesting to see how, or if, he has progressed during this next year. What a confused world this has become, and more importantly how will it end? Good luck in the contest, my friend.

5 7 5 it thrived with truth and attributes of the man ruling our land. It is also a good contest entry. We can only hope the next sixty days he bows and prays for guidance like Solomon to rule our land with both a firm and compassionate hand.

An interesting charge here on the great lion. He DID charge in, thinking he was going to have major influence and it only took little ol' health care to stop him in his big fancy tracks.
Maybe now he'll realise the changes he wants to implement WON'T be anywhere near as easy as he perhaps thought.
Bet he'll still give it a red hot go...or was that bright orange? LOL

Hahaha! Let's hope the trend continues. The best thing that can come out of this is a democratic congress. Or at least some republicans shamed enough to do the right thing. I don't see anything about your poem that needs to be corrected.

This is excellent and so true. Healthcare has a tendency to stop everyone in their tracks, including the Donald. Excellent theme for a 5-7-5 poem. Mr. Trump would probably agree with your words.

This is hard to do in such a small space, but I think you chose your words carefully and captured the gist of this moment, the moment of reckoning, where Trump maybe has learned that governing is not quite like running a company as an autocrat. We'll have to see where we go from here. estory
