Well done about something you love. The format is interesting and just perhaps I'll find myself looking into it. I'm also impressed that it is an 'ode' to your very dear puppies.

Yes, we love our dogs. I have 4 and now 4 puppies. My husband and I live on a nature reserve in Tanzania and our dogs are our guard dogs. I feel safe at night with them watching out for us. A great entry, see you at the finish line. Have a great Sunday, cheers,j

Nice Lanterne Patty I can so relate to your words as we have a little dog who looks just like that. All you say about a dog is true more loyal than some humans.

What a cutie you have chosen for your picture. I love dogs. I really enjoyed your poem. Good job on its style. I believe the word 'beloved' could be read as 3 syllables or 2. So you are using it as 5 plus the word friends in that line. I hope the judges allow it.

You've found a few words and arranged them in such a way as to say much.
The picture is the perfect compliment to the words of your succinct poem.

Dogs are noted for their unconditional love. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a very good read. There is very good imagery.

What an adorable puppy. This is a sweet and delightful ode to your puppies in the form of a lanterne poem. Good use of alliteration. Very nicely done.
