Another very common name for the lovely, fragrant
Magnolia tree is 'Heaven Scent'.
Hence, the clever satori referring to a hallelujah choir.
Very clever, Karyn, a well done haiku.

To be where you can hear the birds singing in the magnolia trees, has to be a great blessing from God. The sounds and the fragrant flowers makes for a perfect morning in anyone's book. Patricia

Wow, this is a great one. Your haiku is both vivid and I can hear the morning birds in the fragrant flowering magnolia. Your satori is inspired.
Thank you for sharing your contribution.

Aaah, i love this haiku. The poem gives the reader a happy feeling to hear those birds gather to sing in the choir. The imagery and the personification shine in this poetic gem.
Great usage of word economy. You made every word and syllable count.
This was such a pleasure to read.

They are stunningly beautiful trees when in full bloom, my wife's father had one on his property. I like that you don't attach artwork indy and leave it to your creative words to paint the desired picture in the minds eye of the reader...Very Nice!!
