Lovely work. Outstanding satori. Superb word economy, superb imagery, superb spiritual overtone. superb phonetics with alliteration of M and consonance of H and R and L. Loved reading it about.

Every word well-weighed. I FELT your standing ovation!

Warmly, rd

That was such a cute and sweet Haiku. I loved it. Perfectly done; A Magnolia tree
is so magnificent- a choir of birds added in, of course a beautiful choir on this beauty of a tree, can have the no-tone birds on it with lousy sqwaucking- LOL
Have a great weekend. ~Kerry~

A wonderful, simple haiku that does indeed capture a moment in time, a moment that so many of us share and don't always appreciate. The birds in WV, though many did not leave this winter, have begun their morning concert series. The warm up begins about 4am. Always nice to hear in morning while getting ready for school. A fine write...

This is a lovely haiku with what I assume is correct adherence to the form. I know very little about the short forms, but it seems to have the required seasonal reference and interconnected lines--as well as a clever final line that gives a fresh perspective to the concrete images. Very well done.

What a lovely piece Karyn from beginning to end and end to beginning. I hadn't noticed a difference in the birds this Spring which means I've got to get outside with my gardening ;)

What a beautiful interpretation...'the hallelujah choir'...I love it. I thought the birds were rather lively this spring too. Maybe here, because they came so early. Love your haiku, blessings...

Magnolias are indeed gorgeous trees. You don't mention in your notes what type of birds, but obviously they make a beautiful noise. A lovey haiku, congratulations on an excellent contribution. Craig

Thank you for your great review for my tree haiku, Craig. I truly appreciate your encouraging, kind comments. With it being a choir, I like the idea of it being an assortment of birds lending their voices to the songs...kind of like soprano, alto, tenor, and bass. LOL

In my opinion, a beautiful and sunny view of the morning in lyric and fluid free verse - fully compliant with the prompt - best wishes in the contest...
