Your granddaughter is just adorable. How old is she in this picture? She has a head full of beautiful hair. I love her smile.

My joy at the sight of her was only eclipsed by the pride I felt for my daughter. She went through childbirth with no pain killers. Only her will to bring forth the life inside sustained her through the ordeal. Her pain was replaced with a special joy when she looked upon her baby's face.' This one had me in tears again! I know what you mean, I was the same when my granddaughter was born, and the love I feel for her is overwhelmingly wonderful. Mine is 16 years old now, and I still have that amazing bond with her. this is a very nice piece which should do pretty well in the competition I would have thought. good writing and good subject matter.
