Hi Dean,
A lovely change of style and an interesting subject choice.
A clever haiku which is crafted to perfection.
Great poets like this man make me feel so humble yet teach by example
so others may follow in their footsteps.

great, sultry alliteration going on here. I often think of the whirling wind through the leaves on trees or down a narrow isle from the side of building across from a fence, that seems to enhance the winds whispering force, to be that of travelling souls. Loved the imagery

Very nice satori that stays with the reader. Great picture too and although I know who it is, reminds me little of the guy warning about the 'rood' in Pet Cemetery. Ha.

Thank you for taking the time to read and comment on this haiku, JoAnn.
Come to think of it, he does look a bit like old Judd, doesn't he, heh-heh?
Take care, and enjoy the day.

This haiku, Frosty Winds Whine, is a nice homage to Robert Frost with, what I am assuming, is a capture of the outdoor environment in a rural setting to emulate his muse. Nice job as always.

Hi, DeanO. great job on this one as usual. You had a great idea using Robert Frost as a theme (sort of) and I recognized his picture before I even read the information. Blessings, Bob

Fantastic satori in this one and a great tribute to Robert Frost. Clear imagery in your first two connecting lines and a great response to the tree challenge

Hi Dean, absolutely wonderful haiku, and you pay tribute to a poet who is to me unknown, but that means nothing. His contributed a lot to American poetry. I can see that. I enjoyed this. Ulla:)))

I like how you did this, Dean, without using the word 'tree' - no need to state the obvious.
Love that satori - echoes of a soul - such wonderful imagery.
