Very funny mikey, these two are such over the top characters, that this triolet of yours works well. Unfortunately we get a visual through your words (LOL) Hope you're feeling better soon,
cheers,
valda

Political commentary and satire seems to be the order of the day! This one has an upbeat rhythm and vocabulary choice to counteract the dire warning. A sparkling update of the ancient Triolet form!

Six stars to you Michael. Sorry you're sick. What's the matter? I love your rhymes with hint about politics of Trump and Russia's Putin. Your poem is so musical and amusing made me smile. Hope you get better. lol liberty justice

    Hi, Libery!
I don't think it's too serious, it just kind of lingers on.
I so happy it made you smile. What a great review, thanks a million. mikey

This is the stuff of nightmare. You will just have to get over it. It is pretty funny.
It reminds me of a close by neighbor of mine who a few years back confessed a deep romantic attachment to Putin. I don't know if its she who was replaced by Trump
in the affections of him or some other British lady? or
vica- versa? The form is of 8 stress. I wonder about the word coining of Bromancin'.
It sounds like the Spanish word 'broma' meaning joke and a headless 'romance'. With the elisions on the 'r'.

Bromance is kind of a new term to denote two males who are extra good buddies. Like a romance between to good "Bros". LOL
I guess Putin has that half-naked man on a horse appeal. HA!
I'm more of a cute gal on a pony type. :)) mikey

I hope you are back on your feet soon. I got a real kick out of this fun, delightful satire about our not-so-favorite buffoon in the White House courting President Putin. It gave me a big laugh.

It's just some flu thing that kind of lingers on. I'll be okay eventually. So delighted you enjoyed. Laughing is probably our best bet at the moment I'm afraid. LOL mikey

There ya go, a triolet about the most powerful man in the world--Putin. My guess is that you have addressed the romantic dream about someone who doesn't know how you feel about him.

Am I right? HAHA. Good one and the metre ain't that rushin.

Super job, Mav. We all need a little more humour in our lives these days.

It does get lonely in the desert. This would be more of a nightmare though. I can think of others I'd prefer topless on horseback....

Yep, I'm thinking we're smart to get as much laughter in as possible while we can. You're too kind as always, Ange. Thanks so much.
