Wow! Praise God for that answered prayer! I was wondering where you would go with this story when you began about believing. By the way, you need an apostrophe in "parents faces." As the story unfolded, I understood why you started that way and then you gave us that example. Wonderful. We need more affirmations like this for us and our children. May He get the glory.

Wow! Praise God for that answered prayer! I was wondering where you would go with this story when you began about believing. By the way, you need an apostrophe in "parents faces." What a nice blessing, to find the check. I too, see evidence of God working all the time in my life. It is hard to understand how people choose not to believe, but it is just that, a choice.

What a wonderful ending to the dilemma.
I must share this with you. Years ago, I had a cat who was diabetic and had to have insulin to live. Before I left the house, I checked my checkbook and there zero balance in it. I prayed as I drove that God would provide for this dear little cat. I don't remember where I was going, but when I got home, for some reason, I checked my checkbook again. There was the EXACT amount I needed to buy the insulin.
I'm with you. I don't understand anyone not believing or praying about things. There are so many things I could tell that have happened as a result of prayer.
