Lovely spring poem of Nature waking up, slowly but steadily, magically and spontaneously. Invites us to align with nature and "ascend" spiritually. Even though in human body, we can learn to vibrate on a higher frequency by connecting to our "higher self" and the energies of the spirit world (as shamans do). There is more between heaven and earth than our "minds" know, for too conditioned. Our essence is pure awareness ! Pleased to have encountered you and saw you have only very recently joined this site. Happy day and writing, Susan

Kerry; your suite of haikus is lovely. I loved how they were separate, but still linked to one another. Each haiku is just right in the syllable count and fit the poetic form without feeling forced. Thank you for sharing,

You captured all the essence of spring covering lots of ground from poison ivy to Jesus. The stanzas flowed very easily and painted a wonderful picture with your words. I enjoyed it very much.

You have a beautiful suite of haiku poems that capture the arrival, the feel and many parts of spring. Your words create clear pictures of every part of this season. I like the verse about the cardinals and the last verse about Easter.
