Love this, Dawn. What a lovely tribute to Luna. It is quite moving. You chose your words carefully to make the acrostic, and to also maximize the meaning of your words. A difficult task to accomplish, yet you made it look easy. Mother and child reunited . . . very emotional, and true. Nice job with this.

Good luck in the contest. This will hold its own against the other contenders.

Oh wow, you have no idea - this review means the world to me, thank you, Suzanne. Jeni was a new friend I'd made here, and losing her so soon after we met was very difficult, and an absolute shock... We'd become quite close in a short time, even speaking on the phone a few times - twice at the hospital. If you read some of my replies to other reviews, I imagine you'll understand how it was so shocking...I'd been waiting for her to be released from hospital, not once imagining she was as ill as she obviously was.

Thank you again, from the bottom of my heart.

A very nicely composed and illustrated acrostic. I do believe two things within your tribute:
-a mother always wants to be with her child/children
-you won't be called home until it's your time

Hi D-D,
yes, a truly powerful little acrostic my dear friend... I sat reading this and reflected deeply in the sentiment... I wonder if the desire won out over the will?

Again, so sorry for the lateness of my review and reply to this beautiful poem... beautiful presentation and all the very best in this contest dear friend!

With our thoughts we create,
unbreakable bonds.

Thank you for sharing another tribute to Luna and her son with this short, but powerful acrostic. Your artwork selection is the perfect accompaniment as well. Best wishes in the contest- Joan

I am glad to think of Luna with her Mickey again. Her unselfish sharing of her story was a gift to those blessed enough to be touched by them. I am sad for our loss for she will be missed but I know how she longed to see her son again. Thank you for sharing this beautiful memorial. May it bring comfort to her family and friends.

I love the acrostic poem and for you to
keep rhyme makes it even more impressive.

A great entry for the contest - good luck, Dawn.

I thought I'd only used 4 of my sixes, and yet I have none - oh well, I'll put it down to the confusion of old age - ha.

Dawn,

I read this last night on my phone when I was going to bed, and I just couldn't comment the way I wanted to so I left it for today. This is simply amazing. One of the best things I think I've ever read from you -- and there have been some really good things, as you know. *smile* THIS is a tribute. The family should get a copy of this. It would be SUCH a gift.

The words are like diamonds falling through shafts of light. Really. I don't know how to describe it. I loved it. Thanks for sharing!

You've laid me out, Robyn, flattened me. I sobbed as I read your review (as if I haven't cried enough tears). But darling girl, tears are healing, so never worry, yes? You have inspired me to do something I have never done before - I am going to share this on my Facebook page (yes, that I HAVE done before), but this time, with a few of the exceptional reviews it's received, like this one. I want Jeni's family to know how much she was loved...

Dear Dawn, a beautiful acrostic, simple and true. Love finds a way to survive and heal...even after passing.
Thanks for sharing and good luck.
