It sounds like you succeeded in this adventurous poem. I felt like you were talking about a shut in. I have been reading many poems, but don't pretend to know that much about them and their rhymes and purposes. Just if I like them and understand them.

This is a very good try at a quinzaine. It is creative and very much in keeping with what is going on with the risks with walking out your front door these days.
I think you did very well with this poetry form.
I like how you want to try them all.
Are you interested in trying haiku? We have a haiku club and there are a lot of us who are willing to help and we have a book started with many, many examples for you to read and learn from. We are a very friendly group. Let me know if you are interested in trying this poetry form. We would love to have you try it out. That is outstanding! I have just asked our club committee chairperson to send you the welcome package but in the meantime, Challenge 13 starts today and closes in one week. It is to write as many haiku as you want about summer. To find the haiku challenges and a link to the book where they are to be posted, look under the "Community" then "Forum" then "Challenges"
There you will find the latest Haiku challenge.
Make it Chapter 13. If you have four entries, they should all be chapter 13. This way they are all grouped together to make it easier for us to collect them and review them for the book.
If you have questions. The package will explain lots of things and you, of course, can PM me and ask whatever you like. Everyone is super friendly and very helpful. We even have a chatroom set up for club meetings and there I or someone can even help you through, step by step if you have any problems. Take care, Lu

Thank you so much for reading and reviewing. This is me, and since I live in an apartment, I don't have a backyard. However, I'm looking forward to the pool being open this summer. I love the water and I think I can brave the outside for the sunshine.
