Wonderful suggestion and a needed solution, if only, WAR, PEACE, this poem to me kind of , well it took on a puzzle for me because in between war a peace you filled in the missing pieces, thank you for giving me a wonderful read.

This a fine entry for the Antonym contest
with solid opposites in war/peace
and excellent descriptive imagery of both in line two and three
that contrast the two words very well
Excellent use of alliteration
Nicely done
Best wishes in the contest

Excellent antonym poem! Great alliteration with "bring boundless blood and blight" and "compassion, compromise and cornerstone." We sure need to work for peace!

Giving you six stars because the message is so important and well stated. Excellent poem for the prompt. I don't see anything that needs to be corrected. Good luck in the contest!

The antonym contest has been full of fun reads and great contrasts between the words. You did a good job with this one; I can only hope that we see more of the peace than war.

Not only is this a condensed, consolidated and concisely accurate downsizing of Tolstoy's epic novel, War & Peace, but is is also an excellent example of an antonym.
Good examples of alliterative phasing here as well.
Best of luck to you in the contest.

A very well-written Antonym poem. War is caused by hatred and only cause destruction.
While compassion and compromises leads to peace.
