A solid intermediary segment, looking forward to what comes next. I do think it's odd that Anderson's staff dines with him. Maybe the reason why was explained in an earlier piece that I haven't read.

One sentence stopped me. "Did Ivan Morozov's family actually have anything to do with it getting stolen or is he an innocent bystander too?" The phrase 'it getting stolen' seems awkward. Why not simply 'did he steal it from the Nazis?' You point out that his position in the Russian mafia makes him guilty of all sorts of things. Why not that too? And I guess I wonder whether the question is important.

Thanks for writing.

It is important later on, especially to Anderson. Thank you for the kind review.

Poor Anderson was wondering why Shana he'd placed herself in danger as to why she left, of course he knew because she would compromise his chances of the custody of Emily. Morozov of course, must have some motive for acquiring the artwork belonging to Shana's family, other than the sheer value of the thing, well done, good episode, Barbara, blessings, Roy
Typo : Let them have (a) special treat tonight.

I d wonder what Anderson has planned. Infiltrating the Russian mafia is scary stuff...not something I would consider doing lightly. I found one minor spag:

He may be out best shot...change 'out' to 'our'...

Nice work with this one. I look forward to the next post.

Another exceptional chapter in this book. It us clear that Anderson is bothered by what is happening to Shana and appears determined to help her.
Great dialogue at the dinner table.
Nice hook at the end.
