Dear Mystery poet,

This was so fun! I have read a few of these poems in my life and I can't remember a better one! *smile* I thoroughly enjoyed the story of this morning's breakfast scene. Where have these days gone? hahaha! Good luck!

To my knowledge few families have breakfast together with school starting times and activities. Too bad.

Your abecedarian poem is really entertaining. I love that you have written in it in a conversational style. A family conversing over breakfast while Mom is being a typical mom, being protective and giving her usual reminders of what is good etiquette at the table, and teaching her children good manners.

I especially like: "Unfold your napkins" and "Zip your jackets". You utilized every letter of the alphabet, and it didn't seem forced, not even the X. "Xavier" as the name for the cat is excellent.

I was enjoying this piem so much I didn't realize the style you were writing in until I read the notes.
That's really good stuff.
I don't think enough families sit down for breakfast as much as we should.
