I love the artwork you choose for your poem
It is a perfect match
You captured my attention from the first line to the last
Even with the black dot of black bird the artwork stills look nice.
Thank you for sharing.

We don't have frost or ice covered trees, but I had a ton of birds in my magnolias the other evening and Harley decided they didn't need to be there. Oh my! there was such a racket. I wish you the best of luck.

:-) WONDERFUL!!!

Love your satori "flocked", encompassing both the bird swarm and
the texture of the trees :-) :-) :-)

magnificently done Debbie!

Just perfect! 'Flocked'...how totally original, and the exact opposite of the usual, flocked in white. I love this!! Blessings..

A nicely composed haiku accompanied by a beautiful image.
The word "flocked" creates an image for the reader when branches
are covered with snow. Marilyn

Dear Debbie, nice strong haiku, loved the images especially in this one - you made me see them as if outside my window.
Thanks for sharing.

Oh nice! I love the last line/word. Perfect Debbie. I love haiku but some don't make any sense. Yours does. I do wish this were in a contest, it's really good. :) Hugs, S.

Yes Debbie,
the image set up the visual, but the use and construction of this beautiful Haiku solidified all intention... magic!

I see the challenge title is five birds... hmmmm, maybe that's per limb? Smile)))))))))))))))))))!

Wonderfully composed and presented dear friend!

With our thoughts we create,
'blackbirds singing in the dead of night'.
