I love this essence poem, it is written with simple words yet it portrays a beautiful sentiment. The image is so apt with a foggy scene,

I really like this poem. It is two lines but creates a very vivid concrete image in my mind. I really like fog, and I like the mystery surround a bog.

Enjoyed reading! I like the use of "ghostly fog" to provoke imagination about what could be lurking in the bog. But instead, it's simply a frog on a log which simply clears up the "ghostliness."

I suppose lots of things could be lurking in that foggy bog. In an essance poem there's only room for a frog. LOL Glad you enjoyed reading it.

This delightful poem not only fulfills the essence poem rules, but has the added bonuses both of rhyming stressed first syllables beginning each line and of consistent 1 0 1 1 0 1 meter from line to line. Excellent, and well illustrated.

Great job on this essence poem. Good rhyming with fog/bog/frog/log. Love the title. Perfect picture choice. I was looking for the frog, but he was hidden by the fog. Lol. Nice work. Best wishes in the contest! :)

Very effective repeating rhyme, alliteration, and descriptive adjectives. This definately puts the reader "into" the scene, and creates a wonderful misty, obscuring sceneI enjoyed this thouroughly, the words flowed together very comfortably, easy, fun, and ostl mysterious read.
Well Done, short, sweet, and satisfying~

I've studied this picture and still can't find that frog!
I do, however, love the poem. Well-done essence variety poem that keeps the reader thinking that there must be a frog in that picture.
