I admire anyone who can pull this off. I wouldn't even try to attempt it, but it has been a joy to read.
There is that enough "a"s for you?
Terrific writing!

Yes, I agree the prompt really is quite challenging and skilled people like you can pull it off. I think, I cannot do that, my creativity is limited only to crafting verses. I have submitted only one prose here at FanStory and I have not written a follow up since then . So I salute your gift for story telling. Thanks for sharing

Thank you. I enjoy FanStory but may give it up because it is so time-consuming.

Great examples, especially the one about time. (I used four "a's" in this sentence. Hey, you used only one in your author's notes. L0l) As for replacing 'cat' with 'feline' and 'car' turning into a vehicle, thank goodness for synonyms.

Thank you. There were still a couple of A letters in that writing. The contest committee made me go over it again and remove them. It is really hard to write without The A.

Hello Writer:
This really is a supreme challenge. I commend you on the effort to write a story without using the letter A. I didn't spot one in any paragraph. Without that letter, I couldn't even have written this review lol
Good luck in the contest.

Thank you. There were still a couple of letter A in the writing. I had to edit and remove them.

You did an excellent job, in my opinion, creating an essay of this length with no As.
Just today I saw reference to the novel Gadsby, which has no Es in it. Fivers, but I'll pass on this prompt.

Thank you. I should have passed on this prompt, it was too hard on my brain. LOL

You did really well with this.
I thought about trying this challenge, but didn't know how to start.
I liked the way you made this story about trying to re-name everything that you would usually use an A in.
Really good effort.

Thank you. It was quite a challenge. A lot harder then I thought it would be. I still missed a couple of letter A and had to read over and find them to stay in the contest.

Wanted to give you a heads-up. The rules say, write a story or a poem without using the letter a. There is one use of a in this piece: the letter in their names so how does one go about It.
You still have time to fix it. Good luck.

Thank you. Yep, I went back over this and caught that one as well as a couple more. It is hard to write without and A.

This is a funny piece on how annoying it can be to eliminate a popular letter from your writing. What would all those fruits and vegetables be called - especially those with names like banana. Very well written. I did not see any appearance by the letter A. Good luck in the contest.

haha I enjoyed your little story about the missing letter. You did a great job being able to make sense & have a story of this length. I like the part about eggs & grits the best. When would it be time for that? I guess one would have to eat them 3 times a day to make sure to get it right.
Good job & best wishes in the contest. Jan
