Hi Pat,
in England we use the phrase 'air your dirty washing in public' which means to reveal all. Maybe your mum was saying that to really get to know who you really are and how others see you it is best to tell all. Some people are not what they seem on the outside.
This was a clever poem and I liked the presentation.

When I had children I said them to them now to my great grandchildren plus I added a few of my own.

Interesting thought, Sis. Loved the artwork. Design of your poem very nice too. I think you came through one of my re-posted chapters of my autobiography. I added an Intro maybe that is where you went through. Trying to get all my re-edited chapters out before I finally go to Self Publishing. New visitors are giving me more ideas though.
