If it wasn't a possibility this would be funny. I wouldn't put it past him to try it. Best wishes in the contest, my friend. You have said a lot in a few syllables~Debbie

I'm with you there, teachers have a lot of influence and should teach children how to act nicely towards their neighbours, near and far. Excellent contest entry, done in perfect 5-7-5 syllables. Good luck and well done. :) Sandra xx

Hi there,

And a good job it would be too. if you want indoctrination to succeed you have to get the children. that was Mussolini's downfall with the Corporate State, leaving the education of the youth in the hands of the young. A mistake Adolf didn't repeat...

All the best

Very Interesting poem I have a great imagination this one stumped me as far as a poem ,but the real strength in your poem is a profound statement within his own legacy. We can only hope that he is a wise leader who is going to help America define America so we can be united under God once again. Thank you for sharing this poem . coop

I totally disagree with you, but you have your right to free speech and to write your opinion. As a former teacher, I can speak for myself and my experience. I worked with fifth graders to think for themselves. How can you judge and/or blame teachers for what you think is wrong in this country? The poem in and of itself if ok and so I give it 4 stars.

Thanks for the insights, I am not referring to dedicated teachers, this poem is addressed to those whose mission in teaching is to indoctrinate their students with radical, godless, Marxist ideology. God bless. Susan

Hi friend
Of course you are talking of the protesters and those who broke windows. Firing the teacher wont do much ,would it. I am not very sure. I realy do not know who is right or wrong. Trump says yes, the judges say no and the people are devided, what can the poor teachers do.they are themselves at the mercy of the brouhaha.
Your writing is worth a great deal these days.

This is true. There is no balance in academia which is a leftist encampment. To display anything but full lockstep with its agenda will hurt a student's grade point average. I know this very well as a conservative college student in the past and what my kids have also experienced as conservatives. Students must go "underground" and play the game or experience the ire of the teacher/professor and failing grades. Marilyn

Thanks a lot Marilyn for resonating with the message of the poem. That is so true in many universities in America on which I regularly follow the events taking place in your country, especially the violent protests of students against other's views that don't fit the Marxist narrative. Thanks for the warm review. Susan

Ha! Now here's something I can get behind. I can't stand intolerance, in fact, I won't tolerate it. Seriously, all the relentless Trump bashing is getting to be a bit much. Give him chance, I say, then dog pile when you have a legit gripe, if you ever have one. The left has turned into a gaggle of screeching harpies, and that's just the men. The leftist social justice warriors are even more strident and unhinged. They are so nuts they think Islam promotes feminism and Muslims are an oppressed minority. Wait til they're all under the boot heel of some bearded troglodyte who beats her and won't let her out of the house without a burqua. As this poem astutely points out, the education system is filled with left wing idealogues who hate themselves, their country and all white people. They are twisted and vile.

Ha, finally a keen observer of events who is not afraid to tell about the evils of Islam. Unlike Obama who is ever politically correct, he could never utter the word ISIS and even insist on calling it ISIL, afraid of hurting the feelings of his Muslim friends. Thanks too, for the generous stars. Susan
