I like how you make the poem come alive with the image and sounds. Crows really do look very ominous always, and where I live we have hundreds of ravens, they too are scary.

Great artwork and sound effects. Love the way they start a few seconds after I'm starting to read, gets me every time. Oh, I love the words to, especially the last line - murder most fowl - still smiling.
cheers,
valda

Awesome, as usual, Dean! The crow sounds just add to our enjoyment. I need to watch the video before I save this. I was still listening to the crow sounds as I started to write the review.
Good luck in the contest!

Missed this one Dean - it is a brilliant haiku. Line one - good alliteration and appropriate for this kind of bird. Line 2 interconnects with line one and is a good example of a well known saying. Line three - brilliant satori with excellent use of homophone with the word 'fowl'. Well done. Dorothy

Dean,
Outstanding job in the penning of this haiku, you always deliver. I recall one time, there were a lot of crows gathering in the trees it was so many it reminded me of the Hitchcock movie the "Birds." I love the satori line, exceptional job my friend and thanks for sharing. Blessings......Portia

'Murder most fowl' was what got the six.
Well the alliteration in the first line didn't hurt. haha
I had several sixes left on a Saturday, being that I'm not on site as much as I once was and knew you'd produce a deserving haiku.
So, here ya go.
Have a great weekend.

Dean,
You did an awesome job with your haiku. Perfect in style. I love the alliteration & the play n words in the satori.
I have crows that dare me to walk by to my car. But I feed them & I live in a bird sanctuary town/county.
Thanks for sharing. Jan

Greetings, Dean;
-by the way I want to tell you I like your T-shirt that you sent by the email. It is quickly coming but I wouldn't wear it in the crowd.
-I like your haiku it's very impressively written and the picture works very well with your poem so one might call it a Haiga.
-Two definitely dramatic and dramatic connected lines and a great satori which definitely offers that spontaneity of excitement and summarizes the relativity of the conceptual theme of the haiku.
-The sound really adds to your haiku.
-Thanks for sharing and take care and have a good one;
