Dear Debbie,
Your last line was quite creative, and from the pic it sure does look like he's blowing bubbles. Nice sharp imagery, strong haiku.
Thanks for sharing.

Debbie, this is so clever! I'm not sure why all the chatter above (in the notes) but I am presuming it has something to do with the new 'class' - or maybe it's because it's a multi-author book. In any event, I think your haiku is great! Basho would have loved it, I'm sure.

(But let's get our noses a little higher, shall we? LOL. Thanks, but no thanks, as much as I love the form.)

I am looking forward to warm weather, flowers, and tree frogs the Spring.

Our weather recently has been like a roller-coaster. Warm - in the low 60's for a day or two, then back into the upper 30's or low 40's for a while.

Perfect weather to make one catch a cold or flu.

Thanks for sharing this, Debbie. JW

It's not been a bad winter here and I hope that continues and we have an early spring. Thank you, my friend. I bet our furry friends will like the warmer weather too. Katie Jo has gone to the door the past few days wanting out. It's supposed to be in the forties today so I might put her out for a bit--if she ever wakes up~Debbie

Debbie, this is a charmingly cute haiku about the lowly tree frog. You brought a smile to my face with this one. Blessings for a great day. I had missed seeing you for a few days. Patricia

Hi Debbie,

This haiku is so much fun. I absolutely loved your satori line... bubble gum is always something to smile about :) It paints the perfect picture of the tree frog all on its own.

Great job!

Marvellous Haiku art work on Nature word canvas; visual imagery plenty, so appropriately and colourfully knitted, sense of humour and playful stand well retained, more so, composed in free flow of thoughts; I enjoyed the artistic visual-studded light read.
