Well I never knew THAT your authors notes are very informative The write is good and describes the snakes movement perfectly, I don't know how to assess a haiku any more than that Mystic. sorry. They are not an easy style of poem to elaborate on I find. They tell a story in 3 lines usually depicted by the picture well that's what I have found. I have never written a haiku but that's just me.

It's okay Dip since I only did this one to fulfill my promise to participate but truth be known I see no poetic beauty in reptiles. They serve a divine purpose and I would prefer they do their thing and allow me to do mine LOL.

Great work with this one. Excellent connecting first two lines. You did a great job with this. I hate snakes and cannot watch these snake charmers do their work. I cannot even look at a picture without getting shivers up my spine. Very nice job with this one, it conveys vivid imagery even without the illustration.

Thank you, dear friend. I don't care for them either which is why even the artwork is detached from their actual physical presence LOL. Hugs for the kind encouragement and support.

I like the way you didn't use the word snake until the end. It adds to the imagery of the haiku as a whole. Great satori line.

Thank you very much, Teresa. I really don't care much for these slithery critters so it was hard for me to do this one. Your kindness and encouragement are appreciated very much.

Did I ever mention I hate snakes LOL. Seriously, I hate them; they scare all that is holy out of me and other stuff, too! This is a great "Snake" Poem" or as good as one could ever get from MY perspective, my dear , dear (Brave) angel. Bruce.

LOL! I am not a big fan of things that slither either (garden and all don't ya know) so this is as much as I could force myself to do ... notice I did not even use real snake artwork as I just could not look at the pictures. Dean sent me an animated snake this morning as a joke and my heart is still beating 120 BPS LOL. Thank you for the kind encouragement - it took lots for me to bring myself to do this one.

I am just shocked. A Snake poem from my angel. Are you sleeping well! I hope so. Don't forget any prayers.
