I found this thread into GET TO KNOW ME that is about a year old, but I thought I'd get to know folks. So... Hi, Sasha. I saw a lady in a thong bikini yesterday. I didn't know who she was, but now know it couldn't have been you. I am a descendant of Bruce the Robert, but no one finds that interesting. I looked it up on Ancestry.com and the lineage ended somewhere in Rhode Island. Can you imagine?!

No, it definitely wasn't me. Don't get swell headed I am also a decedent of Robert the Bruce and King Stewart and it goes back even further than that. My grandmother made sure we knew we were the great-great-great-granddaughters of The 4th Duke of Argyle which makes us related to the current Duke of Argyle, we are also related to the famous Duke of Montrose, the one that was drawn and quartered because of his battle with the Duke of Argyle. It is fun learning where we came from.

The shoe size one made me laugh. Teeth fitting perfectly is a wonderful thing. You could smell a lot worse. Last night I told Will he smelled like sausage. (He did.) I also want to grow up to be that woman. I love how when you get old you can just blame whatever on being old. Wait, so does that mean you'll never be on a nude beach? I'm told nude beaches are just full of old men. These are fun, I love these.

I also learned through my exhausting research that I MAY be related to the infamous Lady Godiva. Since no one can actually prove she existed, the relationship cannot be verified...darn! How cool would that be?

Do they actually have mouse hospitals? Scary thought. This is a fun quiz, but much harder than I anticipated. I wanted to be totally honest (I think I was) but my silly side kept getting in the way.

Thanks. This was fun but much harder than I anticipated. I wanted to be honest with my replies but I think my silly side took over. Good idea, don't call me bad name, especially if I have a broom in my hand.

The greatest thing about being "old" is the ability to be what I was always meant to be; a grumpy, say anything, purple wearing old lady! with no guilt!
