Hi, Kar,

I'm sorry I missed this fine entry into the FSHC's book. This well penned haiku captures an observable moment in time with two present-tense grammatically connected lines. The satori line is perfect and gives the reader a broad smile thinking about the infant frogs sliding into the pond.

A superb haiku, my friend.

Vivid and real! Your chosen words for this poem really gets the job done. My friend paints this type of frog and her paintings are lovely. I believe she has a painting similar to your picture here. Your attention to syllable count and subject are spot on. Very good job!

A very good poem. One of the true mysteries of nature is the wy a frog's eggs become tadpoles and then morph into frogs.
