True friends are a blessing of the rarest kind. You deliver an eloquent tribute to the people in life that nourish and sustain the soul. The meter is fluid and the rhyme seamless making for an enjoyable and uplifting read. Nicely done and thank you very much for sharing it.

A wonderful write on what friendship is all about and what it should mean to all of us. Your experience and age makes you, in my mind, an expert on the subject, and, I'm sure, a good friend. Thanks for sharing. I prefer rhyming poems also. I haven't tried sonnets too much. I need to try them. This one was great

That's a beautiful tribute to friendship. Indeed, we see how much friends are a blessing even in ancient times as tributes were written since then. It is important that we cherish and care for the friends God gives us to cherish and to bless us with.
