Your words are so true Back in the day I have ten real good friend now so are with the Father in Heaven others move out of state with children praise God I have one left. We talk on the phone she remembers everything. I always told my children if your blessed what you call friends and the count is high , a large perfect are not your friends.

Yes, life is full of acquaintances and other folks good and not so good but true friends are very rare. A friend that cares for you unconditionally, unfortunately there is only one...God.

As I stroll through my hall of memories,
surveying all that's good and all that's strife.
It seems some inner wisdom in me sees
the joys and blessings friends gave to my life.
What a beautiful poem. Loved the closing line:
True friendship is a given, never bought.

I like this posting so much. Over my lifetime, I have lived in more than fifty places. Finally, I am where I think it is going to be the last of them. I have left so many people behind, but thankfully, the friends I have acquired where I now live are wonderful and supportive. This is a great joy to me.

In my opinion, a premise definitely worth defining in salutation, and it is accomplished in warm narration, though unevenly rendered in spots - this, by a uniquely gifted and prolific writer...

It's certainly wonderful to have good friends - and for me to have long-term friends to whom I can turn and ask for prayer - tell about a current crisis - or just chat in friendliness. Nice poem.
