Amphibian this week's challenge is! I am off to find amphibians to inspire me.

Gypsy, I found this to be an exceptional haiku. I love the comical image of the salamander walking along a bike trail like a fish out of water. I can see this and the salamander's google eyes. Salamander is the kigo for summer and your satori, although a well-used phrase, offered a comical image I can grasp in an a-ha moment. Thank you for sharing.

Yep this one does it for me. A true haiku with the two interconnecting lines and the last one that gives the aaaahhh feeling. count is spot on and I can see it like a lizard walking along the road.lol
