What a nightmare you all lived through. So sad that your mom's life was cut short. Septic infection is far too common in hospitals! I hope they found the guy and he is in prison. Eager to see how this ends.

Thank you so much, Phyllis, for your RR&R. I appreciate lending an ear to my mother's story, as difficult as it was to read. I just posted part 2, if you are interested. So far no news from the police department linking the two incidents.

    Have a wonderful evening.

A very good and sad read. Works that are based on personal experience fare better than pure fiction. I thought it interesting that you used the word "shatting," a humorous variant of "sh****ng," but then used "bitch," later. Why hold back on the first opportunity and go full out with the second/ It would have also been better if you had explained what Project Renesting is. Other than those two small observations, the work is very good.

Thank you for your fantastic review and suggestions. I will have to consider going back and changing that. Perhaps my hesitance was in writing of my mom with the shatting reference--she would have schooled me! The bitch reference could be attributed to female dogs, so she might have given me a pass on that one :D

The reference to renesting was my son being back in his childhood home with his own family, until they can move to their new home in a few weeks. I will add that to the note section now.

Thank you again for your thorough and well thought out RR&R. Much appreciated. Have a great week.
