I totally agree with you my friend! Very well said! I am like you in that I do pray for our nation and our President. I do believe in the saying...caesar's things to caesar, and God's things to God...so I don't think we'll ever see things that might benefit All of us..that's what that march was all about..and when half a million people take to the streets in peaceful demonstrations...I have a applaud that.
As long as freedom of speech is one of the hallmarks of this country we can all speak our minds...Thanks for sharing, this with us, your pieces was well written and clear...

Victoria, I appreciate your thoughtful review. I never expected all to agree to what I wrote. We have all come from different realities in our lives, that have formed our beliefs. Are any of us totally wrong about what we believe? We are not. Is it right to disagree with a post? Most certainly we have that right.

Barb, many are fearful at this time. I am still hopeful that there can be a change in the lives of those who are so angry and listening to the lies that are coming for the enemy of our souls. Even people of faith are fearful at times. Even in times of fear we still must continue to trust that God has a plan for all that is happening. Could the return of our Lord be soon? That is well within possibility. Just keep looking up and do not let the fear destroy your hope.

Beautifully written. I agree that people need to settle down and give the new administration a chance. On the other hand, "by their fruits shall you know them!" As another older, retired woman, I am concerned about the future of Social Security and Medicare. As a former healthcare professional, I am concerned about the future of millions of people who will once again be at the mercy of the for-profit insurance companies. I hope you are correct, that POTUS, despite his great wealth from birth, has a heart for those not as fortunate. People, not profits, should be the rallying cry for the next four years.

I thought, but then what a predicament and rotten place to leave Mike Pence in. I said more and will only repeat the very ending and not proof it for fear of it disappearing again.

They've been going on for years, and innocent people are targeted. It's a shame. There was a 13 year old girl, with her mother, that had joined the women's march. They voted for Trump, and the girl was wearing her red Trump hat. She was asked to remove it, or leave the march. They left. The march was more about hatred, then rights...other than the right to kill the innocent, and voiceless. A sad shame. Thank you for your opinion, it is valued. Blessings...

My understanding was, there were many different reasons including a march against racism and fear of Muslims etc. I am against any violent protests but we all, including all branches of government need to fear God and work together for peace and the good of the nation and of the world.

The straw dog in the march was racism, fear of Muslims, something Donald Trump said 20 years ago. While in truth the march was largely paid for by George Soros and his crooked money, planned parenthood and was lead by a rather well known radical Muslim woman.
Also those marchers left behind all kinds of trash for other to clean up. If they treated their home like they did the streets of our nations capitol, I would not want to ever eat a meal in their homes. Patricia
