The POV goes deep inside then psyche and observations of this intelligent Whale(Gail). She is strong in her irritation of humans, but she realizes the pros and cons of her situation. Good irritation of humans, but she realizes the pros and cons of her situation. Good luck with the contest.

Hey, this was a lot of fun, packaged around genuinely digestible information. I wonder if you guys have the same strict regulations for whale-watching that we have down here in NZ - boats have to keep well away, it's an offence to approach too close, and I see even drone-operators getting into strife for flying their pesky little gadgets near the whales.

That being said, whale-watching is still a profitable pursuit - but it is at least managed so the whales don't get too stressed. I have a poem about a speaking whale in my portfolio. It's called 'Grampus saves the world'. You can find it here, if you want to take a look:

Good luck in the contest.

Steve

Hi there,

This is a good piece and you have done your utmost to really get into the mind of the whale. LOL

Lots of information in this well written piece too. All the best,

Whales used to be hunted for their oil to filled lamps. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a very good read. There is good imagery.

A well written story about a female whale and her musings about her life.
I like the warm sense of humor you share with your story, and how you bring the whale's plight to light.

Great job,
Rhonda

Harry,

Fascinating information on whales! I enjoyed every tiny bit of it! Thanks for giving it to us in the voice of a whale girl; this was highly entertaining! Good luck in the contest!
