Meia, the poem and the follow on story is horrific to my mind. How a child of such a tender age could do the things she did is a,ost beyond understanding. It is good though that she eventually became a good mother and grandmother. Patricia

A gruesome story. You're really good at these biographical tales. When I was young I saw a movie, Bad Seed, about a ten year old girl who murdered people. It was one of the scariest movies i ever saw and I've never forgotten it.

Thankyou so much for your lovely review! I have seen the Bad Seed but this story always scared me more! A tragic tale but it is something I like to do- deal with historical crimes from a different perspective. So many thanks, Meia :)

A very well-written heartfelt poem, in a way I can understand the pain she had to suffer, make her do the unthinkable. A scream for urgent help? I am glad her adult life turned out better than her childhood.

Jesus Christ. This is such a killer poem, literally. Sends chills down my spine. Only suggestions I've got are to look at the formatting, and make sure everything is its appropriate size. Other than that, bravo!!!

Maybe put some spaces between the dialogue? That's what people always suggest to me. You've done wonderfully otherwise!!!
